Experience the state of the art theater, The Louisville Palace for their Kentucky stopover. The breathtaking venue is one of the most stunning theaters in North America, with its Spanish baroque interiors and atmospheric ceiling. The indie rock quartet features brothers Scott and Seth Avett with members Bob Crawford and Joe Kwon. Emerging in 2000, the band spearheaded a bluegrass music style mixed with folk rock. The band released their debut album, County Was in 2002 but found their breakthrough upon the release of their 2009 effort and major label debut, I And Love and You. The album went to number 1 on Billboard’s Folk Rock chart and entered the coveted Billboard 200 peaking at number 16. The band released several more excellent studio works, all charting impressively on the Billboard 200 and topping the folk category a couple more times. The band has garnered a total of four Grammy nominations since 2013 and several Americana Music & Honors Awards.
Lead singer of Mr. Bungle and Faith No More, Mike Patton is one of the most recognizeable voices in punk rock and experimental rock. His eccentricity translates to music, offering listeners a totally unique aural trip. In 1989, Patton dropped his debut effort with Faith No More titled The Real Thing, which broke into the Billboard 200 peaking at number 11. The Platinum selling album was the beginning of a mindblowing legacy with groundbreaking impact, influencing a staggering amount of musicians in the next generation. In 1991, Patton pursued a side project called Mr. Bungle, an experimental rock band that released four incredible albums, including the 2020 work The Raging Wrath of Easter Bunny Demo. In 1996, Patton released his debut solo album, Adult Themes for Voice.
