So having The Avett Brothers AND Mike Patton take over The Palace on Friday  April 10th?! We’re aura maxxing all the way out for this one, truly in the best way possible - truly for me you and the crew! Right here in the Palace  for a night that’s bound to be 25% soul stirring, 25% electric and eclectic, 25% unpredictable, 25% emotional, and 100% FUN - congrats y’all, we’re in the right place, and this one’s for you! This co-headlining run is part of a special spring tour, making the Louisville stop a rare chance to see these two forces share the same stage. Folk meets experimental rock. Tender moments collide with fearless intensity. And inside the stunning, historic walls of The Louisville Palace, it’s gonna be massive, and we truly can’t do it without your smiling faces in the crowd. 

The Avett Brothers are a band that need little introduction, but deserve all the praise anyway - so we’re here to hype you up before we really get going. Formed by brothers Scott and Seth Avett in North Carolina in the early 2000s, the boys have built their legacy the brutally real way: endless touring until their hearts hurt - matched up with heartfelt songwriting, and performances that feel like a conversation between the band and every single person in the room. Their music blends folk, Americana, bluegrass, and rock with lyrics that hit us right when we heard them, that we’ll never forget where we were -  like “I and Love and You,” “No Hard Feelings,” “Head Full of Doubt / Road Full of Promise,” and “Ain’t No Man” have become modern classics for anyone who likes their music raw, reflective, and deeply human. Live, the Avetts are magnetic - capable of turning a grand theatre silent one moment, then shaking it to its core the next. And THAT folks is why you want to be here when they’re here.
