Three-time GRAMMY Award winner Raphael Saadiq is expanding his hit “one man show” to over twenty cities across the US this Fall 2025! Earlier this year, the former ‘Tony! Toni! Toné!’ singer/bassist ran back-to-back (to-back) shows in New York City, Los Angeles, and Oakland, celebrating his R&B-influencing life and music while showcasing newfound skillsets, including a pandemic pick-up on the piano. The nationwide trek will go through the first two weeks of October for its final leg and plots a next-to-last stop on Monday, October 13th, at a centennial Kentucky theater — The Louisville Palace.
Raphael Saadiq’s “No Bandwidth: One Man, One Night, Three Decades of Hits” is precisely how it sounds: a full-scale commemorative concert dedicated to his multi-awarded legacy, which earned him preeminent recognition as a contemporary R&B icon. But beyond his Billboard R&B Top 10-charting years with the Tonys, Saadiq’s forthcoming setlist will also incorporate a storied post-House of Music career as a solo artist and record producer/writer who worked alongside industry giants like Stevie Wonder, Beyoncé, and Whitney Houston.
“My one-person show has three acts; I will be talking about my career, bringing a couple of instruments to express myself, singing my original music as well as covers of songs I wish I had written, and more. I want it to feel magical and like a Broadway show.”
Thirty years of hits means every radio-romping single, every classic since the glory days of number-one chart-toppers “Little Walter,” “The Blues,” “Feels Good,” and “It Never Rains (In Southern California).” After which, you can anticipate the genre-rejuvenating solo side, kicking off with Instant Vintage in 2002 and spawning a five-album streak that spans the widely and critically acclaimed LPs Stone Rollin’ (2011) and Jimmy Lee (2019). Individual records to keep a lookout for include gems such as “Get Involved,” “Still Ray,” “Be Here,” and “100 Yard Dash,” with GRAMMY-nominated singles “Good Man” and “Love That Girl.”
